The Windstar Hotel at Carolina Beach

This is absolutely the best hotel on Carolina Beach! From outside to inside the entire property does not disappoint! When you walk in, the fresh, clean smell catches your attention, check in was a breeze, the staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious and so much cleaner than many of the “big name” hotels I stayed at. The pool area is beautiful and also exceptionally clean. This is the property my family and I will continue to stay at.

Chrissy worked the front desk. Best experience I’ve had. We left something in the room and she called before we left the island to return it. Clean. Friendly staff.

We had a great stay . Everything was extremely clean and it's very affordable compared to other hotels of the same style. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful for anything we wanted/needed. They also have a great pool that we enjoyed and if you want to go to the ocean it's only an 8 minute walk or 2 minute drive. We stayed for a few days and Samantha was the person who cleaned our room and kept it stocked with everything we needed so we didn't have to ask for anything. I suggest if you're going to Carolina Beach to stay for anything you need to stay there !

My booking was very pricey… but, the rooms were clean/comfortable, Emily at front desk was very friendly and we enjoyed the pool! Beds very comfortable and it is within walking distance to everything! Pleased with our little weekend getaway!

Everyone is so nice here all the staff are more then willing to help you out and upon arrival we were offered local attractions and fun things to do. Breakfast is perfect and the pool is a nice place to relax it’s all within walking distance to food an the beach the rooms are also cozy and private!

We had originally booked a Deluxe queen suite and a family suite but the very kind desk lady had upgraded my Queen suite to another family suite free of charge so that we would all be more comfortable! All staff that we had encountered were so friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the stay, though we didn't have enough time to try out the pool. Would stay again

I stayed at the Windstar hotel during the recent snowstorm. I had a great experience. I felt very safe there. The room and the common areas are very clean. I thought the breakfast was very good. It's simple and not fancy but the food was very good. But, what makes this place so special are the people that work there. The gentleman that works the night shift is the kindest most hard-working person. We had quite a bit of snow. He cleared the sidewalk to my car and cleaned the snow off of my car. He didn't have to do that. I didn't even ask. And he did it without gloves or snow boots. He went above and beyond for me. I would also like to mention their housekeeper. I was having some anxiety and she went out of her way to comfort me. I feel ashamed that I don't know their names so I can mention them specifically. A great location, Very clean, a good breakfast, and amazing people. I highly recommend the WindStar hotel. Thank you so much to the special people that I will never forget.
